Empowering Students with the Right Tools

Since the launch of the laptop program in 2021, UA Grantham has been dedicated to ensuring that new and returning students have access to reliable technology. By offering a new laptop to students who enroll in associate, bachelor's, or master's degree programs, the university aims to eliminate barriers to online learning and enhance the educational experience.

High-Quality Technology for Academic Success

The Lenovo laptops provided come equipped with Windows 11 and 8GB of RAM, ensuring that students have the technical specifications needed for their coursework. Additionally, students gain access to Microsoft Office 365 through the student portal, further supporting their academic needs.

Eligibility and Enrollment Process

To qualify for the laptop program, students must complete the admission process and be admitted to a degree program, with the requirement to start classes in the upcoming term. A valid mailing address in the continental United States is necessary, as shipping to destinations outside this area may be unavailable or delayed.

Enhancing Accessibility and Reducing Barriers

This initiative aligns with UA Grantham's mission to make education more accessible and to better enable student participation in online classes. By minimizing difficulties associated with substandard technology, the university is making it easier for students to persist and complete their degree programs.

Commitment to Student Success

The success of this program reflects the university's dedication to supporting students and fostering an environment where they can thrive academically. As UA Grantham continues to grow, the laptop program remains a testament to its commitment to student success and technological advancement in education.
